Helping Dad

Thursday night Hayden helped Trever put together a bookcase for Hayden's room. He was so proud of himself. He would hold onto one screwdriver the whole time and say it was "Hayden's screwdriver."

Don't you just love his boots? These were my nephew's. They are Buzz Lightyear snow boots. They are a size too big, but he loves to put on his "To Infinity and Beyond" boots.

Snowing in Kentucky

Tonight it is snowing in Lexington. I just had to take this picture because I thought it was so beautiful.

Visit with Santa Claus

Last night my sister and her family were getting some pictures made at Picture People so I decided to take Hayden to the mall to see Santa Claus. Usually Hayden has cried when he sees Santa or even the Easter Bunny.

Well this year I have been talking a lot about Santa and how he brings you toys if you are a good boy and I guess it paid off because he sat so calmly on Santa's lap. After the picture was taken Santa asked him what he would like for Christmas. Hayden tilted his head toward Santa's ear and whispered, "Buzz." (He has a Buzz Lightyear, but he loves Buzz). Then Santa asked him if he would like a truck. Hayden quietly said, "Yes, firetruck." (Santa has delivered this early to our house and it is hidden until Christmas). I was just so proud of him for being such a big boy.

Twilight Book Series

I finished the Twilight book series around 1:00 a.m. this morning. I absolutely loved them. I seriously could not put them down. I think I finished all four books in a matter of one and half weeks. If you get a chance, you need to read all the books, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. I cannot wait to see the movie when it comes out November 21st.

Happy Reading!!

Halloween

I have finally pulled myself away from reading the Twilight series, I am on book number 3 Eclipse, to update my blog. I cannot put the books down. If you haven't read them, I highly recommend them.

Anyway, I wanted to share with you some photos of Hayden on Halloween. He absolutely loved his Buzz Lightyear costume. I think he would wear it every day if I allowed him.

All ready to go Trick-or-Treating. He would say, "Twick or Tweat" to everyone we met or "Happy Hawaween." It was just too precious.

Hayden had a great time Trick-or Treating with his cousins, Jack and Reagan.
Thursday, October 30th, we went to Hayden's Fall Festival with the Lexington Mom's Club. He had a great time decorating his Trick-or-Treat bag.

Man, look at that stash of candy. Luckily it is gone.

Haunted Car Wash

After Trick-or-Treating my six year old nephew, Jack, wanted to ride through the Haunted Car Wash. Yes, it sounds almost as silly as it was. You paid to ride through the car wash, as it washes your car, and people are inside banging on your windows and stuff. You hear the chainsaw and everything. Jack laughed through the whole thing. My sister and I, on the other hand, screamed like two little school girls!

Trever and Jack all excited to go through the Haunted Car Wash.

Yes, this is me!
Let the screaming begin...
