Hayden's 1st Trip to the Dentist

Hayden did so well at his first dental appointment. No tears and No cavities.

He got to wear sunglasses because of the light being so bright. He liked that his towel had "Horton Hears a Who" on it.

Destin Vacation - Part 1

We truly enjoyed our vacation to Destin Beach, Florida. We haven't been on a vacation since moving back from California. Hayden was so excited to be at the beach. The whole week before leaving he asked me every day if I would build a sandcastle with him. The drive to Destin wasn't as bad as you would think. Especially with a toddler who is potty training. It took us about 12 hours. That includes bathroom breaks and over an hour for lunch. We will definitely be going back to Destin. It was simply beautiful.

Can't wait to get on that beach.

"I AM SO EXCITED!"

My two precious boys.
Sweet brothers.
Tropical Storm blowing in. It hit land sometime in the middle of the night. I slept right through it as did the boys. The next day was a rainy day so we spent it shopping at the outlets.

Fudpuckers - Hayden was so excited to hold a real "galligator."

"Go faster dad."
Water boats. Watching them spin around was about to make me sick.

Aaww this is the life.
He loved the waves. I thought he would be a little nervous but he just took off into the waves.

McGuire's Irish Pub - Best Burgers!

Those are dollar bills hanging from the ceiling as well as on the walls. The slogan is $500,000 and counting.
Now that is a burger!
My sun baby!

Destin Vacation - Part 2

Mom and her two little pirates.

Enjoying our boat ride on the pirate ship.

Signing his oath.
One tuckered out little pirate.

Hayden got to drive the pirate ship.

"This is cool mom!"
"What's Up Mom?"
Trever and his parents went snorkeling and caught all of these crabs.

Beautiful Sunrise!
Fun day at the pool.

I really wanted to take a picture of both of the boys on the beach, but it took all of our patience to just get this picture.

Fire Station Outing

Today a group of us visited one of our local fire departments. Hayden loves Fire Trucks and I thought this would be a good way for the kids to see the trucks and Fire House up close. They all had a great time.

Hayden and his buddies.

He was so excited about meeting a "real fireman," but when he had the opportunity to be next to one he was a little shy.

The whole group. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful friends.

Evan Conor got a fire hat.
