3 Months and Counting

Okay, it makes me ill that I already have a baby bump at 3 months. I am chalking it up to having a second child and my stomach muscles never tightening up after Hayden. Even though I lost all of my baby weight and more after Hayden. Not that it is just my body shape and it has a mind of it's own when it comes to pregnancy.

Oh well, YEAH I am now three months and growing!

Today I had my 12 week check-up. Our expected due date is still May 13th. It is amazing how fast a baby grows and develops. It was such a treat to see the baby and get photos.

The second ultrasound picture is just a closer look at the baby.

Happy 60th Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's 60th birthday. We had a nice family dinner and cake at our house. We invited my parents dearest and closest friends over, Ronnie and Donna Cook. They have been best friends for at least 36 years.

*I did have some great photos of mom with the grandkids but due to human error on my part, they were deleted off of the camera. Don't ask. I will just have to take some more.

HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY MOM! WE LOVE YOU!

Happy 4th Anniversary

Four years ago today I said, "I Do" to my very best friend. Technically we have been together 13 years, but it took him 9 years to propose. I thought it was worth the wait. My life has truly been blessed being married to Trever. He is a wonderful husband and a wonderful father. I cannot imagine my life without him.

Thank you honey for having me as your wife and the mother of your children. I love you more and more each day.

Our honeymoon was a Southern Caribbean cruise on Princess Cruise lines. My favorite island was probably St. Thomas. The beach was so crystal white and the water was so blue. Trever's favorite island would probably be Aruba. He went diving in an old shipwreck.

What wonderful memories we will have for years to come.

UK Tailgating

Saturday Trever and I went to our first UK Football game of the season. Living in California we had to sell all of our season tickets last year and only the first four games of this season. We have truly missed tailgating with our friends and watching the CATS play ball.

The people who sit around us were so glad to see us. Everyone is so friendly. I just love our seats.

Our friends Jason & Vanessa

Our friends Roger and Christa

Here are the guys playing Cornhole.

This is the start of the game when our players rush the field. This is how close our seats are. I think we are like 7 rows from the field.

Movers Arrive - Can You Tell?

Well the movers arrived a day early. Thank goodness. Now comes the fun part! Our house looks like a tornado has gone through it. The sad part is that we didn't take majority of our things to California with us since the house we were leasing was furnished. But I am so thankful and glad to have my mattress back. I have missed it!!

We converted Hayden's crib to a toddler bed so now he is in a "Big Boy Bed." So far so good. I will let you know if I hear little foot steps in his room around 6:00 tomorrow morning. I am sure he is just as excited to be out of that pack n' play he has been sleeping in for the past two weeks.

I am sorting through all of my clothes and moving them to the summer/winter closet upstairs. Especially with a baby on the way, I know I will not be able to wear majority of my clothes until after the baby is born. Also, this is a picture of Trever putting together our TV system and speakers. He is so in his element here.

This was suppose to be a "formal study," but until we finish the basement (which will hopefully be before Christmas - I am keeping my fingers crossed) this is Hayden's playroom. Poor little guy was so excited to see his toys. Look at my kitchen!! I have put everything away, but now I have the fun part of clearing off the counters.

Only clean room in the house - the dining room. Nothing has been touched in this room since Christmas.

Well off to hang up clothes so that I can lay down in my bed tonight. Wish us luck.

Afternoon at the Farm

Today, after we left the lake, we stopped by Trever's parent's farm. Hayden really enjoyed seeing the cows and the new baby calf. We picked some apples from their trees so that we can make an apple pie or an apple crisp.

New baby calf. Just born a day ago.

The cows were chasing us because they knew we had feed.

Fishing with Daddy

This weekend we went down to Trever's parents houseboat on Green River Lake. It was such a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Like my parents, they were so thrilled to see Hayden.

The trees are beginning to change color and everything is so beautiful.

Hayden had a good time fishing with Daddy. He even caught a fish, but we had to throw it back.

Arrival May 2009

Coming in May!

Well I am sure most of you have guessed it. Well those that I sent an e-mail to. Typical Ronda fashion to not delete a sentence from an e-mail that I was forwarding to EVERYONE! I had this whole plan laid out of Hayden wearing his "I'm Going to be a Big Brother" t-shirt to surprise our families and then tell everyone. I tried to do some damage control, but I know I didn't convince most of you.

When my parents picked us up at the airport it took my dad a few minutes to really let the t-shirt sink in. This weekend we are at Trever's parents houseboat so they were really happy to see the t-shirt as well. Of course, my mother and mother-in-law figured I was pregnant due to my slip of an e-mail. Blame it on the baby sucking all of my brain.

So yes, Hayden will be a big brother come May. This was our little souvenir from California.

*disregard the mark on Hayden's forehead. Typical boy with bumps and bruises.

AAAHHHH - HOME

We made it home to Kentucky. It is such a beautiful fall day here. Like high of 65. Our flights went real smoothly yesterday. We flew from San Francisco to Atlanta and then to Lexington. On the flight from San Fran to Atlanta we had the three seats in the middle of the plane. It was so great. Hayden rode in his car seat so Trever and I were able to actually catch a little sleep while he was strapped in watching Nick Jr. on the little TV in the headrest in front of him. It was perfect. Why we never did that before, I don't know! Oh I know, my husband hated paying for the extra ticket. Well now that he is 2 he has to have his own seat. I enjoyed having an aisle seat for a change. Usually, I am stuck in the middle or up next to a window trying to hold onto Hayden.

One thing that was really scary at the San Fran airport. Trever totally forgot to declare his pistol when we checked in our luggage. We were at our gate and he was like, oh I forgot to declare my gun. I told him that if it was a problem they would call him. Sure enough, "Trever White please come to Security." He takes off running. When he finally comes back he was like, "They were going to take me to jail." I was like, "WHAT?!?!?!" They read him the riot act. The only thing that saved him was the pink checked tag on the gun when we first flew out to San Francisco. He had never opened the case. I would have KILLED him if he would have been hauled off to jail.

Last night we had dinner over at my sister's house. My mother cooked her lasagna. Nothing is like your mom's lasagna. It was all so good. They were all so excited to see us. My mom and dad picked us up at the airport.

Today was waiting on the cable people and running other errands. Trever put my laptop on the counter and was like, "You are up and running." I was so excited!! Just a day without e-mail almost kills me. I love being in touch with everyone. We also drove to Toyota to get Trever's new vehicle. As a manager, he gets a new vehicle every year. He opted for the new Sequoia. It is white and beautiful! I can't wait to put some magnetic UK cat paws on there for tailgating.

It feels great to be home. I have missed everyone so much. I have also missed our new house. We just built it and lived in it only a year before moving out west. All of the toys here are like brand new to Hayden. He just runs around so excited. All yesterday he was like, "Hayden's house." When we were at the airport and he surprised us by saying, "Bye Bye Hayden's House." The little man is too cute!

Luckily Trever is off of work until October 13th. Unfortunately, our movers will not be here with our stuff until October 10th, at the latest. I am praying for an early delivery.

Thank you guys so much for all of your prayers and well wishes. I truly appreciate it. Talk to everyone soon.
