Destin Vacation - Part 1

We truly enjoyed our vacation to Destin Beach, Florida. We haven't been on a vacation since moving back from California. Hayden was so excited to be at the beach. The whole week before leaving he asked me every day if I would build a sandcastle with him. The drive to Destin wasn't as bad as you would think. Especially with a toddler who is potty training. It took us about 12 hours. That includes bathroom breaks and over an hour for lunch. We will definitely be going back to Destin. It was simply beautiful.

Can't wait to get on that beach.

Tropical Storm blowing in. It hit land sometime in the middle of the night. I slept right through it as did the boys. The next day was a rainy day so we spent it shopping at the outlets.

Fudpuckers - Hayden was so excited to hold a real "galligator."

Water boats. Watching them spin around was about to make me sick.

Aaww this is the life.

He loved the waves. I thought he would be a little nervous but he just took off into the waves.

Those are dollar bills hanging from the ceiling as well as on the walls. The slogan is $500,000 and counting.
