Just some facts I read online about this week's storm
- 525,000 electric customers out of power
- 2nd worst power outage in Kentucky history (#1 was winds from Hurricane Ike knocked out 600,000)
- 10,400 downed power lines, which was 1,000 more than in the 2003 ice storm
- Tuesday saw a record rainfall of 1.72 inches in Lexington (This breaks the old record of 1.2 set in 1889)
