Snow Day

Do you remember those wonderful Snow Days as a child? The snow falling, the hope that school will be cancelled, the shear enjoyment of running out and playing in fresh powder. The east coast got some snow this past weekend and we all enjoyed a little bit of snow play.

Friday, January 8th, the boys and I enjoyed a few free moments in the snow. Hayden had been begging me since Thursday morning, when the snow first started to fall, if he could go out and play in it.
This is Conor's impression of the younger brother in A Christmas Story - "I can't get up! I can't get up! Ralphie!! I can't get up Ralphie!"

Conor was so ready to go back inside. It was too cold for him. I think the only time he smiled was when we were heading back inside.

Sunday afternoon, Trever and Hayden headed to Trever's parent's farm for a day of sledding and playing with the baby calf. I think both boys really enjoyed themselves.

Hey Hayden. Do you have anymore Milk?

The only way to go sledding. You don't have to worry about walking back up the hill.
