Progress on the Basement

Here are just a few pictures of our basement. The progress is coming along nicely. We were hoping to be finished by the end of the year, but the cabinets will be installed around January 6th. My brother-in-law, Jon Byer, built the house and we are having him contract the basement. We couldn't be happier with the way things are looking.

View of the bar and full bath. Next to the bathroom will be a closet that will remain unfinished for Christmas decorations.

View of the basement. Behind the stairs will be Hayden's toy area. He will have built in cubbies and under the staircase is a walk-in closet that will house the overflow of toys.

At the rear of the basement is a door that will lead into our unfinished area.

Hayden's toy cubby. I found some baskets at Home Goods that fit perfectly in the top four cubbies.

When building the house we roughed in a bathroom. This is a full bath. The wall color is like a burnt orange Tuscan color.
